I wouldn't change your transmission, that can get pretty pricey. You might wan to think about re-gearing to a lower gear ratio to get better mpg at the cost of losing power. It'll be a lot cheaper. What rear end do you have on it now?

And transmissions don't take away engine power, they convert it into driving power lol. And by getting a weaker transmission or regearing won't give you more speed if that what you also want, its going to make you slower. You need more power to go faster. You might want to look into getting a programmer/tune to free up some power and give you more speed. A lot cheaper than the other 2 options too.

You have a 3.50 gear ratio, for your year you can downgrade to as low as 2.73 I believe. You'll gain mpg but you will lose torque and therefore power and getting up to speed will take longer.

Anything not needed. If you have bigger wheels than what your spare is, dump the spare unless you really need it. And did you delete your cats with the straight pipe setup?
