    1986 f150 351 w 4x4

    I want my truck to be quicker I was wondering if my transmission is holding my truck up it shifts pretty rough n I think its a 4 speed any suggestions please I am new to this so any help would be much appreciated

    Have you checked the transmission fluid lately? Start there. And plenty of things to make you go faster, depends what kind of gains you want.

    I want lots of gains this truck isn't my daily driver I want it for weekend fun like shows some races u know

    Then if you have no set amount and want massive gains, forced induction is your route. Slap a supercharger and a new intake manifold and some injectors on her and your speed problem will be solved.

    ----------

    Plus an exhaust system for better outflow and a nice tone.
