Know most people say stick to oem but how much different/better are the oem calipers than the ones from advanced auto, auto zone, oreilys???

They're not different. They are remans taken from customers like you with a core. They take your old one, send it to remanufacturing plants, put new innards in them and sell them back.

I've got two "new" calipers on my truck, both have the OEM Ford logo embossed on them just like my factory ones.

Where'd you get them from, and yeah I figured they'd be remans but when I priced them they where quite a bit more at the dealership

I got mine from VatoZone

Dealerships are brand new never used. Both meet the same specs and requirements.

Remans for sure. I think mine were about $110 each. I don't know what Ford charges, but I'm sure they are A LOT more.
