Yes they are brighter than my headlight bulbs, I only have halogens in that. I will be getting something to replace them soon. I am very pleased with these though

Ha. I may just get em. There sweet. If u get a bulb to match it for the heads. Please share. I'm looking to narrow one down and there are so many to choose from. Thanks bud. And great write ^^ btw

The morimoto lights you mention, look like they would be great, probably better than what I have. But I just replaced my bulbs. It looks like the ones you talk about can better focus the light instead of casting light like the bulbs I have. Overall, without replacing the entire fog light housing, I'm pleased with the bulbs. The Morimoto lights would be a full upgrade.
