Take off the hub assembly, repack your bearings and take it to your local parts store. They will tell you if it is in spec or not. If it is, turn em down and reinstall. If not, buy new ones.

yeah, tires were balanced three weeks ago, alignment was done....and when I had the rim off you could tell they were warped or the caliper was sticking, I think it more warped cause it'd spin freely a quarter turn then stiff!
If you get new rotors, some words of advice:
Many people believe that slotted and drilled rotors are the way to go because Ferrari and other high-end companies use them. In reality, those 6- or 4-piston Brembos generate A LOT of heat when decelerating a 200mph car, so they have those technologies to help cool them and prevent brake fade, something that is very prevalent on track cars. Your truck, on the other hand, does not get anywhere near as hot; so those drilled and slotted rotors are only accumulating to less surface area for friction to grab onto, as well as eating pads quicker on a standard pick-up. By all means get a good name with a good alloy metal, but for maximum stopping power for a 5,000 pound truck, you want standard veined rotors as they come from the factory.

I swear there is nothing you don't know about cars. You should be upgraded from the professor to Auto God lol.
I always wondered about that!!! thanks for the advice! are you a mechanic or do you get your knowledge from experience?!?
I've been on another site called F150online.com since I was 13. Read, read, and read some more.
