somethin wrong with 4 wheel drive
I dont use 4x4 very often but I put it in today and I felt the transfer case kick but my front tires wouldnt pull ..what do yall think

What year truck and how many miles? And it might be a faulty transfer case. It may have kicked in, but may not be delivering the power.

Ok, so the transfer case engage and the driveshaft spins, but no tires spinning? It would have to be gears in the front differentials then. That's all I could think of with that. How many miles do you think it has while driving in 4x4 out of those 200k currently on it?

It's got to be something to do with engaging front axles weather it's electrical or vaccum actuated! Don't know the set up on that year but I would start there. It helps to get a manual to see diagrams on elec. and vacc!
