    Ok bro, I've been having the same problem, but mine is that they aren't engaging. See the hubs if its vac have little ears that pull and push them into gear when you flip the switch. If those ears break and fall into the hub then you will hear some grinding or noise when you drive regardless of it being in 4wd. Have them check those ears or 'dogs' as they are referred to. If its having a problem disengaging it could be the same problem mine usually has. I just think for the moment mine is easier to stop for a moment and let it disengage or engage and drive on. Mine will engage if I stop for a sec and let it go in. Seems like yours is doing the same thing but in reverse. If that's not the fix to your problem then have check the vac system. Wiring, hoses, etc. That would be the only thing I can think of. Hope this helps!
