Ya claying only gets out so much on an older paint job.

I used to detail cars at a dealership back in the day so I learned a few things. Ever since then I've been completely anal about the cleanliness of my vehicles

I just like a clean car period. It's fun to play and get my truck dirty, but then I clean her up all nice after.

After a good day of mudding I usually set a lawn sprinkler under the truck for a while so I don't have to bend down to get all the crud off the frame and underbody

I hate clay barring when detailing, but the rewards of doing this out weigh the time that it takes to do it.

My mustang went through a 6 step process.
    Bug and tar remover
    Wash
    Clay bar
    1st coat of wax
    2nd coat
    Polish

It would take me close to 6hrs from start to finish, but my 11yr old mustang looked just as sexy as the newer models if not better and it wasn't garage kept and driven daily.
