I've seen it used. Nice finish. I'm just hooked on black fire. Amazing shine. Tried em all.

I'm picking up my new black truck next week and read this post. Started investigating black fire and it looks like a really good product. Do you just wash and wax with it or do you use any of the other products they sell?
    Thanks.

I suggest the first thing you do with your new truck is clay bar before anything else. That way you're starting with as little on your paint as possible. A common misconception is that a new truck is as clean as can be, but that's not the case. There can be little bits of road grime and rail dust on the paint which will just stay in the finish until clay barred. It's the only way to get the best shine possible.

That's the truth! I clay mine a few times a year. It's also a good way to get bug guts off. Safer than a high pressure washer.

Yeah, but I could still use a new coat of paint.
