    Sound Quality

Hello, I have only had my 2012 F150 Lariat Ecoboost for a few days and notice a bit of a quality issue with the sound system. Sometimes the sound quality using the synch phone feature isn't very good, all high end and crackly, anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks in advance - first time Ford buyer

    Brian.

I haven't noticed any issues with mine. Except when the services operator is on. That can get pretty crackly from time to time, but no issues on an actual phone call.

Thanks! I'll guess I'll see if anyone else says anything different and then talk to the dealer. I notice the same issue sometimes even with radio.

Yeah I have a 2010 F150 and really in all honesty Ford really failed on getting quality sound system in the newer models. Sony really could have done better, then again you can get Sony products at Auto Zone! Lol anyhow, BMW has HK, Dodge had Infinity, etc. they should of put a better system in these newer trucks. I still love my truck but I'm going to have to upgrade one day.

I'd change speakers. Stock is not that great.

I'd like to upgrade one day too. The sound is not horrible, just underwhelming. My wife's Hyundai has way better stock sound. Ford kinda dropped the ball with the stock sound in these trucks. A $35,000 vehicle should have decent quality sound IMO.

While on the subject, any recommendations for speakers/sound systems that are reasonable in pricing and that sound pretty good? Because I got my 05 used and both back speakers are blown out and rattle terribly when a song with any amount of bass comes on.

Ryno I went on amazon to get everything. 150$ for 4 6x8 350 watt pioneers. And I got a 10 inch sub. Pioneer as well. I had an amp already. So that saved me some cash. But I have 600watts goin to the sub. I also have a pioneer app radio. Love it. It's just totally around my iPhone. But fer speakers. I love em. Perfect sound. Once I got everything dialed in and balanced bro it was awesome. Completely satisfied. And I'm also a musician so clarity is important.
