    Custom tunes will always be better than canned tunes but PHP's customer service has not been stellar lately. I do plan to send my Edge to them eventually for custom tunes but I've been happy with my Edge tunes so far.

    Do you have to send it to them? I thought I read somewhere that it can be done from a PC at home with some downloaded software?

    It is. But u can call customer Svs and they will walk u through it. Great service over there. Ryno talked about how good they were so I got one. Just on his review. There great.

    Ok, got the evolution installed, running level 1 for now, what is the best level for best fuel economy, does anyone have some tried and tested custom settings for economy and also for towing?

    The best mode for economy is controlling your foot lol. I leave mine in the level 2 towing mode all the time and try to drive with a light foot even though it's no fun. You can mess with the custom setting to adjust for any other mods you have. Be warned though, Edge doesn't cover you if you create custom settings and it messes up your truck.

    So we made a round trip trailering vacation of about 2500km and all I can say is there was a very noticeable difference in my opinion, I am uncertain as to whether or not there was a power difference or not, but the shifting was better, and the throttle response much better. Another contributing factor may be the fact that I now have the tire size right and the speedometer is right on.

    All and all, very happy...
