Hopefully it's not leaking from the head gasket ( I don't have the money for stuff like this until summer )

Would swiching to motocraft half and half slow the oil leaks and be better for the motor I heard on another Fourm that a guy switched to synthetic and it leaked less oil?

I don't think switching from non-synthetic to synthetic will help much, but I could be wrong. If you use a heavier weight oil that will help, that's what I did in my '71 Buick and it just about stopped a leak that was pretty substantial (but that was because it was a ridiculously high weight which you shouldn't use on these Ford engines). If you're running 20W you can go up to 30W but no higher and it might help a little.

It will be under Literature once you select your vehicle and it gives you a list of sub-catagories.

synthetics tend to have more cleaners and could increase the amount of leakage. I would stay with recommended weight, clean the engine and find out where it is leaking before doing anything. Maybe you did that and I missed it. Hope that helps.
