Cold air intakes will give you 1-2 ponies.

Regearing won't "give" you more power, but it'll make bigger tires easier to turn so you'll have more acceleration.

Electric fans help out a lot. Maybe 5hp depending, and maybe a .5mpg gain.

Other than that, forced induction is the only way to go.

I'm not into old trucks much- cant you get like MSD coils or something? I heard older engines were easier to mod.

Fuel treatments are a bunch of hocus pocus. Shell or BP gasoline has all the fuel treatments you need. I fell for the Seafoam and Gumout scam when I was 16 and paid $400 for it- they killed my catalytic converters, and those E3 spark plugs don't burn any different than your stock Motorcrafts

I'm a big believer in zmax. I've seen how clean it keeps everything. But as for power. Not so much. But deff keeps inner engine parts clean and lubed. Not a fan of those so called "firecracker" plugs. I tried them in my 03 cobra "she is no longer with us". And I hated em. Went back to motorcraft and ran 9.40's all night. Just kept breaking up.
