Thread: Idle problems

I have an 89 f150 with the 4.9l inline six problem I'm having is once the trucks warmed up the idle is rough and acts like it want to die have replaced idle air control valve idle positioning sensor map sensor plugs wires cap and rotor PVC valve fuel filters and air filters any ideas

Check vacuum lines for cracks and intake gasget use carb cleaner when truck revs up thats where your prob is

Thanks have done that which lines usually dry rot first

The ones close to heat lol
