I need to look into buying a beater so that it doesn't cost me so much to go see my boy. Although his going to be excited when he sees my truck.

my '04 4.6 is only getting about 13.5mpg so 12 seems about right for a '91 5.0. but i may be wrong and have bad mileage

I'm not sure this is the 1st truck I've ever owned and I think the newest vehicle I've ever owned besides the sunfire I once owned.

The good news is I just landed a good job that pays decent so I should be able to afford to gas now

you could probably find some mpg specs for your truck when it was new and compare that to its current mpg. older vehicles with higher miles tend to run a little less efficiently in my experience. a good job is definitely helpful if you want/need to drive a truck

Thank you for that tip. I'm definitely going to look up specs, or at least try too. And yeah a good job is definitely a pluse their is no way I could afford this truck before hand.
