    Throwback

I guess since we have a few new members who have never seen my truck. It is a 1998 F-150 Base model 2WD, with 4.2L V6, M5OD-R2 manual transmission, 3:55 non-LSD rear axle. SuperCab, short bed

This is the earliest known picture of my truck I can find. Ironically, I am in it. If I remember correctly, this was somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains (Carolinas or maybe Tennessee) during our annual vacation. As you can see, my dad only added a topper since purchasing it. This was around 2000-2002 time frame, I'm guessing I was maybe 11-12 years old.

This picture was taken in 2006 when I turned 16 and got my license, I started driving the F-150 and my dad bought a new car

When I acquired it and started driving it to high school, I immediately sold the topper, added some cheesy eBay headlights and taillights, swapped badges, and put a billet grille on it. I was going for a white/chrome look. This is circa 2008/2009:

Then I moved to college, started getting into more tasteful and expensive mods (retrofits, LED lights, radios, etc). I swapped the 1998 front end to the more stylish 1999+ front end and acquired a 2003 STX valence and added fog lights. I also had the front windshield tinted to 35%. This is circa late 2013 (and for all intensive purposes, how she sits now):

My future mods include swapping out the chrome 16s I'm on for 5-spoke alloy 17s and new rubber, repainting my front end, getting replacement headlights with a more powerful LS460 bixenon HID retrofit and then re-tinting the sides and rear windows (starting to peel).

As of right now, I have about 398,000 miles on her. I drive 150+ miles a day. 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. I average about 18 city/ 21 hwy for mileage. Except for a pesky P0171 CEL, she runs cherry. If the engine ever gave out, I would throw her on a backburner and do a frame-up restoration with a Supercharged 4V 5.4L Navigator engine as the core.

heres my truck all of the photos are a month or so old you can tell the difference in the shine that I have basically saved this truck from a moron and the seats probably have never been cleaned as by the last photo.. It took me 2 hours on that seat bottom and it's still not as clean as it can be I would by a replacement seat bottom but it cost $600 and won't match the rest because of the age

You have done a lot. And I like the future plans for an engine too.
