Used the semi syn fer 3000 miles in my fx4 and went straight to mobile 1. Have always used mobile 1. Redline or amsoil syn in the Shelby. And just ordered the same fer the lightning. But have always been a fan of mobile 1

I've used the castrol full syn in my truck since it's first oil change. Seems to be pretty good. Truck has 176000 miles and not a whimper from the motor. I'm a believer in syn oils. And with the constant humidity change in Louisiana you definitely need it.

Absolutely I also use it in my wife's expedition. It's a 98 with 243000 miles. Still strong.

I've been peeking around for an 80-86 4X4, but can't find one in good enough shape for the money the crazy asses around here want for them. My first fiddy was an 82 man I miss that beast.
