Would it be alright to switch?

Alright.. So last oil change I put 6 Quarts of Castrol GTX High Milage ( half and half basically ) and half a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer in the crank case.. Would it be alright to stop putting Lucas in the crank after 1 use? Or will it screw stuff up..

i wouldnt use any additive anyway. you could end up dislodging a piece of dirt/sludge where it isnt doing any harm and it will find its way to an oil passage which equals=new motor
