Did not know that Joe. It's a powerful tune ! SRV Life by the drop and angels son always remind me of my brother. I'd say one of my favorites by them . Am jamming to it here and there trying to get it down . When they coming around ? Would love to see em live !

F*** Me . I just looked up upcoming show dates Joe. They're performing less than 10 minutes from my house in June , but I can't make the show !!!!!!! :-(

Sevendust is doing a very select amount of shows this year and only a few will b 20th anniversary shows. There is 3 in our area. Little further north Up by u. Star land ballroom in Sayreville nj. Which is 2 hrs north of me. And Philly. I'll b at philly. If u can make it. I can get u to meet the band. And beer is on me lol. I know. You ain't even gonna have one lol. Me either lol. Anyways. If I can make one of the Three in your area let me know.

True story. He told me he was so wrapped up in thinking about Lynn and everything that happened. He didn't prepare. Once the song started in the studio. He said it just came out of him. Moving I've heard him tell this to the crowd. And then. Tell me personally. He to this day still gets filled with emotions when he talks about it. Crazy.

Bro. You beat me to it. I woke up to read the story of one Mr Gregg Allman. I was a true fan. I have a million stories that I could share. A dear friend who is no longer with us was the biggest Allman brother fan. He was the original #midnightrider. The midnight rider is not just the name of my truck. It's a battle cry that gives us the confidence that nothing can stop us. It was something my dear friend and I shared everyday. When we didn't let anybody get us. Shoot us. Blow us up. Or ambush us. Or get in our way. Then some years later. I purchased my truck. Shoved a blower and a ton of other go fast parts under the hood and the midnight rider was born. Nothing can catch the midnightrider............... rip mr Allman. I won't let em catch me

Very cool joe . And glad they weren't able to catch you over there . And in the midnight rider over here lol !

Some of my best memories are of my brother and I jammin for hours on end to SRV and the Allmans. My big bro was a huge fan of both and could play their stuff to a T. Definitely not fair that the good ones are taken from us . Especially when at a young age .

In that vein of thought . This morning it was this in your friends , my brothers and Mr. Allmans memory ........
