Most people don't like the front end of the 97-03's but I personally love them and the extended cab not the crew cab because the tail lights look terrible

the 10th gens are too round for a truck lol...not to mention they are a deathtrap...have you seen the crash test of them

My only fear with mine is rolling it, or hit from the side....there's no column between the doors

07-08-2013, 11:32 AM #19Take my word for it, these trucks (04+) are crazy strong. I bought mine as a wreck, rollover actually. I drove it from the salvage lot where I bought it. Ford used a ton of laminated high strength steel in the re-design of these trucks. Originally Posted by joshpickworth

That makes me feel a lot better about my '05 lol. That driveshaft on the 97-03 model folded like a straw. That's crazy how that thing crumpled so much.
