Looks like my floors after I pulled the carpet up.

They're not terrible, and smooth. Can walk barefoot. But it's stained. And squeaky. Going to screw the squeaks away and put a floor over it

How do I cover a ceramic tile shower wall while replacing the fixture?

    Fixture? The diverter?

I don't cover anything up, I'm just careful. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.

I had to break out 5 ceramic tiles to get to a leak. I fixed the leak but need to replace the tiles. What can I do now to prevent water from entering the wall till I replace the tiles.

Oh. Heavy plastic, at least .3mil, and gorilla duct tape...two strips wide on each side of the plastic. You'll be good indefinitely

Clean the tile well so the duct tape can stick
