    ^^^ X2.

He's just working so backward ! Do what needs done for the compression test . No need to go further buying other crap if the engine is junk !

I'm with Matt and dj , just gonna sit back and watch .

How bout that license ? Ur running around doing all this work for a vehicle you can't even drive . If ya got the time for this project , you got the time to make ur appt and make sure the date and time is good for your brother to take you. Period ! If he balks , it's time to have a serious "TALK" with him. That means kick his ass.

A bad day of hunting or fishing is better than a good day at work !

Drain the damn tanks first.... Each time you turn that key you're pushing more and more of that crap through... That should be your first priority...

What does your workshop manual say?
Black Chrome is bagged, blown and a pleasure to own.

I don't have one for the 9th gen yet. But the rear differential fluid looks newer. ( clean and smells good ) The magnet wasn't horrible looking.

Got the motor mounts and transmission mount installed today and looked at the back tank ( zero rust on it ) and I smelt the fuel in it. ( it was still good but it was starting to age ) so I put some fuel cleaners in it and it fired right up and ( my brother ) even drove it around the yard. Transmission shifts great and the motor. Is strong as heck. Ran it for about 15 minutes and let it cool off while I helped change a wheel hub on a Nissan. So it cooled off and all of that fun stuff. And fired it back up and it ran like a champ without the assistance of a pump of the throttle to keep it running. I have videos of it.
