Walked three miles early (6 a.m) after breakfast and another 3 after lunch (11am) , that's about 12k right there . Vacuumed the whole house , laundry , and packed away some Christmas stuff in the basement. Laundry room in basement . Two story house , so two sets of stairs . Must have been up and down them no less than 30 or 40 times! Walked to my buddy's a mile away and back and then cleaned up stuff in the yard and put outside yard stuff in garage for winter. I'm thoroughly exhausted and my back is toast , lol ! I'm only shooting for about 15k a day. I won't be hitting over 20 anytime soon again . I think like 10k is recommended to maintain good health. I'll tell ya though this thing is a motivator to get my walking in . That being said , I only did 8k yesterday :-/

Lol ! Gotta remember though Joe, I'm semi retired,,so lots of days are Sunday's for me now :-)

Don't be ! I'm freakin busier now than before ! Don't have enough hours in the day. Don't know how I did it before And how anything got done . Oh wait ........... I only slept like 4 hours a day! 5 was a good day.! Sometimes wish I was back ,...........sometimes lol !

I've got an app on the ol iPhone to track my steps. Most I've ever done was just shy of 32,000, but that was like my first time reading meters and now I know all the shortcuts so meter reading day is down about 10k from that day. I average 8-10k a day

I was using that one for awhile. Found out it's not too accurate. Well at least mine is. Figured I'd give the fit bit a shot

^^^ trying to get these stats daily , but I'll take anything over 10k. These #'s are pitiful. I think it's a 4 day total ( still getting used to the app and navigating the app) not sure ? I did do those numbers one day this past week but no way I burned 15k calories in a day. Maybe the readout is highest days stats with total cals burned over 4 days. ( gotta screw with this thing some more, .... I'm no tech geek lol ) . A far cry from my goal of 10k steps a day or more if that's showing a few days worth , but I don't think it is. Oh well some is better than none

I got the bills.....lol
