I'm sure some of you have heard about them, but they are the second most produced firearm ever behind the AK-47. 5 round internal magazine, bolt action. been in production since the 1890 to 1950s. over 74 million made. They can be scooped up for about $100 or so, and 500 rounds of ammo is $80, and its a .30 cal round. cheap shooter and can reach out and touch you. Well I'm going to pick up the red-headed (or should I say blonde-headed) brother, the M38 which is a much rarer Carbine version. The carbines usually sell for $300-$400, I'm picking her up for $200.

Whats cool about the Carbine is the barrel is so short, the 74 grains of powder inside the casing doesnt burn all the way, so the powder continues to burn after the bullet leaves the barrel, making a huge fireball:

Nice! Yeah I see the Mosin Nagants all over for cheap. I didn't realize ammo was so cheap for them though. 500 rounds for my AR was about $230 lol. And that's pretty cool but I'm guessing it was never a sniper's first choice lmao.
