    blue devil head gasket sealer

    just wondering if anyone has used this stuff before? is it worth trying ive got an 88 f150 pretty sure it has the original gasket in her just hit 100000 miles and bam white smoke and coolant in my oil any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

    5.0? 100k on a 88? Wow. That ain't bad. The only way to fix a head gasket is to take off the head and see if the surfaces r true. If they are not true. U have to make them true in order to get the gasket to seal correctly. And to answer your question. No. I have never heard of that product. Doesn't mean it's bad. Just means I've never heard of it. What engine? Body type? 4x4?

    Don't use it. Head gasket sealer and products like stop leak can cause havoc on your cooling system. The can plug your radiator, water jackets, and heater core. Not worth the hassle to save a little elbow grease.

    yea shes a 5.0 single cab short box non style side 4x4, that was my thought too yes it may seal the head gasket but it would also seal every other crack in the system ( even the ones not ment to be sealed)
