That's a terrible thing to think. You're a horrible person and an irresponsible pet owner. You're going on my ignore list after this so don't bother responding.
If you loved those dogs.....you'd do what you had to to keep them from hurting each other

It never ceases to amaze me how many children there are on this sight. You have no right to tell be what to do and you don't know anything about dog culture or behavior. You offer no information as to a viable solution and make personal attacks.

It happens all the time that children fight and sometimes they really go at it. Dogs are no different. Yes I could get rid of the boxer and that is an option. The unknown is how the boxer will behave in another home. I can also take the boxer back to the shelter and many people do that too. What I choose to do is train the dogs.

Of all that you say and it is truly a child's game, you said "...don't bother responding." So you express a very strong, yet ignorant opinion and then say that. Tell me how old you are again? 13? At least read up on dog training and dog behavior. Ceasar Milan has a great dog training show and yes, I watch it and implement his advice.

    1, site*
    2, me*
3, How do you know what I know or don't know about dog behavior?
4, I know enough to tell you that finding a new home for 1 will be the quickest, safest way to make sure the dogs are safe. Some dogs will NEVER get along with others, no matter what.
5, Not an attack. The truth
6, Kids are not at all the same as dogs. When fighting. Dumb analogy
7, You're "training" consists of beating the aggressor so that he fears you. Sounds like maybe YOU'RE the one that's ignorant

And finally. Lol at Ceasar Milan reference. You're an *******.

God I wish I could remember my password, so I can modify my ignore list

Also I know for a FACT that the shelter would prefer taking the dog back than letting it get hurt

You are incorrect. The shelter I got all three of them screens their adopters. The questions are "What would you do if the dog does....???? Like what if the dog barks excessively? or what if the dog goes to the bathroom all the time in the house? In each case you qualify if you say "train them." Otherwise they won't let you get a dog.

Here are some links so you might educate yourself instead of giving unsound advice:
Ottawa Valley Dog Whisperer : HOW TO STOP YOUR DOGS FROM FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER
Dog Tip: Fights Between Dogs -- How to Avoid and Stop Them
What to Do When Your Dogs Fight

While you might realize the internet is a good resource, you might not realize that your advice is not repeated anywhere. No where could I find where they blame the owner or advise that they get rid of the aggressive dog.

So they'll let any ******* like you adopt a dog just bcz they will "train them"?
    What a ****ing joke
Besides....barking excessively and urinating in the house are totally different than two dogs physically hurting each other. **** off

Why don't you read up on the subject instead of attacking me?

The shelter I go to is Helen Woodward:Dog Adoption San Diego - Adopt A Dog | Cat Adoption San Diego - Adopt A Cat | Helen Woodward Animal Center

You might check out their website. The place is famous here. In fact when the fires burned hundreds of home and this Shelter, people pitched in and it was the first thing rebuilt. There is also a page where you can ask their trainer what to do when dogs fight. That would be how someone else would tell you that you are incorrect.

Look. I'm no diplomat. But if the dogs R hurting each other. I'm guessing this is the topic. Then u should separate them.
Rex. Why is it that there is a heated debate all the time? ALL THE TIME. If your dogs e fighting. Separate them

When any dog shows aggressive behavior towards another person or animal it is best to seek out a professional animal trainer to evaluate the situation. Animal behavior, including aggression, can be modified but it is best to do it under the supervision of an expert.
