    Hey Joe

    Looks like it was announced sooner than I thought. You owe me a 6-pack:

    ===============
    "This is the next version of the Ford F-150 pickup, the most profitable vehicle Ford sells and the most popular automobile in America. While it looks new, the biggest changes lie under the paint, where the body has been made from aluminum instead of steel...The weight savings — which equal roughly 12 percent on a Super-Duty variant — drive other changes. The engine lineup gets shuffled, with the current 6.2-liter V-8 dropped. The base engine will be a smaller 3.5-liter non-turbocharged V-6, with a 5-liter V-8 and 3.5-liter Ecoboost twin-turbo as the top models. The new in-between option: a 2.7-liter V-6 Ecoboost turbo that Ford claims will offer as much power as buyers used to expect from a small V-8"
    ===============

    The new 3.5L is the same engine as the current 3.7L but with a shorter stroke.

    Pics available here at the link:

    It does look like a decent looking truck. I can't wait to drive one.

    Videos:

    Also, notice that it's showing 552 miles remaining and it's at 1/2 a tank.

    So that is 1,104 miles on a tank say it's 36 gallon tank = 30.66 mpg

    Hahaha nah its fine. I was kinda hoping to dig this up in a year and claim it but letting it brew for a day won't satisfy my victory :P

    Going back to the new truck- I thought the 2013s were amazing, but this thing just takes the cake. As an aircraft owner, I know how crucial weight is in the gas game, and the fact that this truck is 700 pounds lighter is just stunning. But then again, I'm not that surprised because between the 10th and 12 gens, F-150s got FAT. My extended cab V6 is 3800# versus a 2012 extended cab V6 is in the neighborhood of 4200-4500#.

    I know I'll b there lol. Chapman has done the show for the last 5 years. And the last two. No gt500. Boooooooo. But there r hints that the 15' line ups can make a visit. But to b honest with u. If any 15' models make an appearance it will prob b a 6cyl mustang. I'm hoping that's fer damn sure. I'll keep ya posted
