    What beach did you guys go to? And if there's a rip current they're really strict, especially now that it's "winter" and lifeguards aren't manning the towers like they do in the summer. They're just being extra cautious. I know it sucks though lol, just wait for them to drive away and proceed again haha.

    It was Huntington beach, and they did say something about rip current.
