    It wont do anything. The stock filter will draw more air than the engine can pull. Its like dumping more food on your plate, it doesnt matter because you can only eat so much.

    There is a perk to the drop-in filters though, they are reusable and therefore will save you money in the long run. That's why I got mine, not really for performance gains, but rather because it'll be the last one I buy lol.
