Thread: New member for a bummer of a reason!

Howdy all!
Original owner of a super low mileage 1997 F-150 extended cab lariat. Yesterday a teenager borrowed it and drove too fast in the snow. It’s totaled. However, I’m not one to give up so easily. 90% of what we used this for was to run trash from our house to the pickup area 1/4 mile from the house. May be able to get this one back to that duty. The wrecker yard has a 97 with a destroyed back end. He offered to give it to me cheap for parts. Anyway as I take the sawzall to this to get the hood etc off I’ll be posting pics and asking questions. Nice to meet y’all. Next truck is a going to be a bigger one in diesel.

Before you get too excited you may want to get it towed to a body shop to check for a bent frame.
