    How To: check codes

    Does anybody know how to wire up an obd one with a wire so you can check the codes with out a meter?

    I think you need a meter for it, no way around it really. Well unless you get the really expensive computer software that can do it.

    I actually found it off of YouTube. All I had to do was get a piece of wire and jump wire it to itself and it blinked the codes

    That trick is only available on OBDI vehicles, not OBDII (1996+)
