Thread: Engine Belt Sound-2019 F150 2.7

Hi Everyone,

I recently picked up a brand new 2019 F150 Lariat. Have 1200 KM on it. Works great and love it. There is however almost like the sound of the engine belt (not sure) that is a little loud especially at the end of the day. I heard it last night and the night before. Checked in the other morning and this morning and the sound was gone. Checked again tonight on a full stop and it is there. It can’t be heard on when driving However. It’s only on very low RPM or on a full stop.

i opened up the hood to try and figure out where the sound is coming from but no idea. The sound can be heard clearly in the video (attached). Any idea? Worth to take it to dealer?

In any case, you should contact a specialist. this is not good. my friend had something like that, only the consultants helped.
