    Lol yeah filled up the oil, the smell stops comin in the truck when the AC is off, smelled like a burning clutch at first but now it smells like oil

    Also there was no leaks that I could find

    You may have a leak internally then, could be burning on the block and then make its way into your cab via the vents, even if the air is off.

    Anyone hear about this policy ford apparently has where it's considered acceptable to have to add up to 3 litres of oil in between oil changes?

    No, that shouldn't be right, if you're not leaking then there is no way you should have to add that much oil. I had my oil for a year and never had to add any, lasted till I changed it. They're just trying to save money so they don't have to look for a leak. They'll wait till your warranty is up and then tell you, all so they can charge a ridiculous amount to do it right. Tell them to do they're jobs and find the problem. The burning smell is not a good thing and adding that much oil is not natural. Take it back.

    And besides, your truck only holds what 7 or 8 quarts I believe, so losing ~45% of your oil is not acceptable unless there is a leak.
