05 has the worst of the cam phaser issues, as well as spitting plugs

Ive always heard 04 since it was the first year of that motor and all. I know my 04ranger had that slight "diesel sound"

yeah lariat or FX4

I am test driving this supercab to get a feel and test all my options. 05 Lariat All the same options as my 04, but its a supercab. I can tell you right now I can feel a difference in the motor and acceleration. It may have something to do with my old 04 being a Crewcab, but this white one gets up and goes. After work, im going to listen to the engine under hot Idle. I dont "think" I want this particular one, just wanted to test the supercab out. But if price is right, ill consider.

Also, ill be able to trade because evidentally no one want to buy the Ranger lol (if they do, they lowball me). I think I can get what I want out of it trading in to this partiular dealer since i know them. we will see. I am going to test drive silver one saturday if all goes well



Its a one owner as well.
