Missing Fuses
Hello,
I recently purchased a 2012 F-150 Lariat with ecoboost. Shortly after, I realized that none of the auxiliary 12v outlets were working. Obvious to check fuses first but they are missing in those positions. My first thought was to just put new ones in but I started wondering WHY they are missing. Kind of afraid to put them in only to find some larger failure because of them that the previous owner knew about. Anybody else seen this?

If it’s a 10 amp fuse, it will blow before anything serious could happen. If the fuse keeps blowing, then there’s a short somewhere.

I paid a company to move my f-150 from the East coast. Th A/C didn’t work after I took delivery. I took it to the repair shop and they discovered a missing fuse. Since everything was working fine before we shipped it I’m guessing the guy that drove the hauler truck found himself in need of a fuse and helped himself to mine. Not the biggest deal in the world but that SOB could have replaced it before he delivered it to me. I’m still pissed.
