Thread: Where did you go

To make a forum like this one work, original posters or Op's have to get back to member that's answering their post. It's essential, and just polite. This forum could be huge, if the members contributed. I personally contribute on the Ford Expedition forum on a regular basis, and the difference their is the original poster gets back to the forum with their results. I'm really surprised this F150 forum is like a graveyard. Could be the lack of response is why. Let's get this one going guys/girls, I know your reading this post!

It’s because people use this forum like google. They look for answers and then disappear once they find it. For my other car forums, I get regular newsletter emails to tell me what other people are talking about or what people are asking. I contribute when I can.

That's a shame cause the Expedition one is booming day and night. We there also get one timers, poof and they disappear. But members have to understand that by treating this forum like Google, they'll never get any experienced mechanics like myself to waste their time. Kinda weird how one forum can be so great, and another similar one dead as a cemetery.

True. The Raptor forum is pretty active. I think if anyone has an issue with their F-150, they’d probably get a better response there.
