    Has anyone heard of this or used it?

    M Five Alternate Transmission Fluid Modifier; M Five Alternate Friction ModifierATP AT-206 M Five Synthetic Friction Modifier allows the use of Dexron/Mercon Transmission Fluid converting it to Mercon V Type Fluid.

    Features & Benefits:
    Synthetic product which extends the frictional stability and life for Dexron/Mercon fluid similar to Mercon V
    When used with a complete transmission flush, one full bottle should be used

    Don't you dare! These are very sensitive transmissions, going as far back as the 4r75/80 or 4 r100 on up to the newest 10 speeds. Stay with the Ford fluid, don't mix em, dont put in additives. I work the Expedition column as a regular contributing member, and we've had so many that varied from service intervals, and using wrong fluids, with bad results. If your fluid is Mercon v, use Mercon v, same with newer LV fluid. It's not like engines that are more forgiving, you don't rock the boat on transmissions.
