New here and have a few issues

just purchased from a friend a
    94 f150
    4x4
    short bed
    5.0
    AODE-W (4R70W)

trans seems to drop out of gear while driving, previous owner took it to a trans shop and they said it was the TOT sensor he never had it fixed he only had it bout 6 months and rarely drove it...

i bought a new sensor as well as a new trans filter, when i dropped the pan the old filter was just sitting in the bottom of the pan.... that would cause the problem i thought. so i replaced the sensor put new filter on put back together and down the road i went... still same problem :-/

bought a cheap actron code reader and it
    came back with the codes;

    KOEO
    121 throttle position sensor faulty
637 trans oil temp sensor signal voltage to high

    CM
    121
    637
639 turbine speed sensor insufficient signal

    KOER
    121
636 tot sensor signal higher or lower

can anyone help me with these issues
i can replace the speed sensor and throttle position sensor if needed but dont wanna replace them and still have the same problem like i do with the tot sensor

    thanx

Wow, you've got quite a few codes that need to addressed. Are you good with wiring schematics, and troubleshooting these systems that you have codes for. What gear is it popping out of? I had a 89 Lincoln with the earlier Aod that had a worn overdrive band, 4th gear, that would do what they called neutraling out. It's basically the friction material is too worn to grip the overdrive drum. Anyway, your going to need a dealer, not Haynes repair manual/CD to tackle this. If not your looking at probably 2-3 hours shop diagnose time, to diagnose and possibly fix. Hope that helps a little.

i ended up replacing the speed sensor on the trans and that fixed some of the problem but not completely. im told i need to replace the trans to fix it completely now...

what its doing.... runs great sounds great...
driving, it will shift from 1st to 2nd no problem, will stay in 2nd way to long, will not shift out of 2nd till im going mayb 45mph and will not shift out of 3rd till going mayb 70mph cant b a good sign but when it finally shifts it drives good.

no new codes but cant seem to get the old ones to clear...

things that have been replaced so far since ive had it...
    plugs
    wires
    distributor complete
    throttle position sensor
    trans oil temp sensor
    trans shift solenoid block
    trans speed sensor
    trans fluid and filter

3 things pop into my head. 1, make sure you fluid level is correct, not too high or low. 2, if you have a throttle pressure adjustment like my Aod had, back it off a little, ideally using a gauge screwed Into the port on trans. Mine was 33 psi, not sure on yours. 3rd, you might have a sticky valve or 2 in the throttle body, or too strong springs causing the delay. Unless your slipping in gear once it engages, I wouldn't pull the tranny yet.
