Hello Everyone,

I have a 92 F-150 with the 5.0 V8 and E4OD transmission...

As of 1/1/18, was a cold morning (single digits), the truck started right up on the first try, though it ran a bit rough... later that day I checked the trip odometer for mileage and happened to leave the key turned on which drained the battery.

On 1/2/18, (next morning) was still cold, of course the battery was dead, so pulled the truck to the shop and put a battery charger on it for several hours. When I cranked the engine, it would sputter a little bit (sounds like 1 cylinder firing) but will not take off.

I'm pretty sure it's not the fuel pump, as I can hear it kick on when I turn the key, also get fuel at the schrader valve when depressing the stem while trying to start it.

Also, several months back it started missing on one cylinder, and would stall if put in gear at idle... I cut the catalytic converter out and put in a straight 3" pipe right behind the O2 sensor and ran it to a muffler with dual 2.5" outlets. That seemed to help things for while, thought this not starting issue might be related.

Any ideas or suggestions?
