    2017 or 2018?

Looking to buy a new XLT 5.0 with a 302a and a few other options. How much more will it cost me to factory order a 2018 vs buying a 2017 off the lot? Do you think incentives will keep increasing in 2017's? I can pretty much get the 2017 truck I want for 41k before tax, but it's unclear on 2018's. My local dealer said I could custom order a 2018 with zero obligation, and decide if I want it when it comes in.

    Thanks,
    Jason

2017's are less expensive with all of the rebates. There aren't many changes from 2017 to 2018 except a few cosmetic differences. The engine and gear choice will depend on how it's to be used. V8's are great engine and I used to be a V* guy myself but since my experience with my 2 Ecoboost 3.5L V6 I wouldn't have it any other way now. Don't let the little twin turbo powered V6 fool you. It's got all the power and torque you'll ever need.
