Thread: 5.0 or 6.2?

  1. #11
Seeing the 5.0 on Sunday.. Previously had 1 owner 99k Miles, already lifted, no wrecks.

Guy is telling me he can do 28k on it. Feel like I'll be over paying, thoughts?

Upside it's what I want, looking to drive it for the next 5years minimum -- death of vehicle.

Just don't want to over pay.. Knowing used truck places everyone does a little. Just don't want thousands over

Looks like a basic truck, is it an XLT? What year?

I feel like that, I know a good lift will cost $

I've just seen other trucks same engine in about a year difference and xlt for 15k with out the lift.

Those seem like a good buy except the mileage is 150k+

The mods and lift truly do not add value. I understand that he will want more because of it, and you might be willing to pay a little bit more because of it. But that seems pretty high

I was also told I'd get 3,500 for my 97 on trade in with a 2k down payment.

In all honesty I'm now feeling like this is a run away situation and I should look for an xlt or fx4
Between 13-19 and then do the lift.
