    My Winter changes.

Well I know most of you don't know me but during winter I usually work on a vehicle during my free time. I don't know if this is the place for this thread or not but I'm just going to post things here. Yesterday was the start. I pulled my 37x13.5 nittos with 22x14 American force wheels. Swapped to a set of ions and small tires (just for working on the truck and not having to worry about the nice ones). I bought them brand new last year just for the tear down process. I cleaned up the American Forces for winter storage. They are powder coated and wow does that clean off easy. The insides look just as white as the outsides. The truck is all small now. Today I removed the grill. I made this grill a while back and it has always worked and look great. Now that I'm getting closer to laying down paint I need to change it some b/c of the color scheme I'm going to do. So off it came and currently working on the new mesh. No more bling. Anyway heres some pics.

Thanks Joe. The grill surround is the factory one that I just cut out all the insides. The Shield is actually hinged for two reasons. There is a mounting screw for the grill and to get to the hood release.

Still working on the grill. I got the black mesh added and wanted to see what it looked like in. I also painted the radiator support areas black that can be seen thru the grill. It was missing something so I added the shield back. This will be pretty much the same grill I had previously just different color. It's looking pretty good. If I knew black was going to look that good I may have done it a while ago.

Thanks Cooper. It has been a while. These past few months have been busy for me and the past few weeks of weekdays was nothing but work then back home and work on the truck. But she now has new urethane body mounts, new spark plugs and plug wires, painted driveshaft, mirrors, pull handles, rain guards, headlights, grill, and hood pins. Not to mention fresh oil change and greased fitting.

I still need to torque all the new suspension bolts, put a couple gallons of non ethanol gas in it, clean the throttle body and either clean or new air cleaner. Then it's back to the big wheels and tires and on the road.
