    How to open / retrofit 09-14 f150 taillights

    So i have done a little research and i haven't really come up with how to open taillights on 09-14 f150s. So i had a extra set of lights laying around and figured screw it i give it a shot... This i how i did it i do not know it is the best way to do it but it worked ... Let me know how they come out for you ... This is part one on how to open them i will be making more videos on how to prep , paint and put them back together. Like and subscribe

    oven at 250 I think it was. For a few minutes

    Welcome to the forum. I've never done it. But a member here has. I believe it was 350 in an oven the exact time I'm not to sure of.

    Professor? Would u mind answering this one?

    Yea thats for headlights you can not bake the taillights

    I would never think to put them in the oven...lol. Great source though!

    yes if you put your headlights in oven for 10 mins at 275 they willl open and you can paint them / retrofit them

    yea i did at first to lol ... Ended up melting the lense ... But headlights your permaseal to put them together but the taillights are glued ... You have to cut them

    oh wow. That sucks! How would you retro fit tail lights? Paint them? Or something else?
