It's not a constant thing for mine, just opens up the vent for outside air occasionally, not the A/C. Mine is just enough to notice if I'm driving with flip-flops on. And that would be a nice fix if I didn't already have a programmer plugged in there lol, but thanks for the info brother!

I didn't take the boot thing serious, it was pretty funny.
As an Auburn fan, we only get some of the hatred, but not as many good years.
Mine isn't a vent issue. The vent pumps out great heat. A size 13 boot will block the other foot though. I just can't find this d@$!ed draft!
Good thinking, but the newer body styles use electric motors. Plus it's not the vents. It's right by the drivers door. I've checked the seals, all good. I've conditioned the seals, once with armorall (just because I cleaning stuff anyway), and again with vaseline. All wiring/cable boots are in good condition with tight seals. I've plugged every little hole I could find with foam, didn't help a bit. I've tried using fans to try find entry points, but can't find anything. My old jeep without drain plugs in the floor wasn't this cold, but it's only in that one area. If you can't tell, this drives me insane. I think my next step is to take off the cowl, wipers, linkage and motor too see if there's something I'm missing.
Before you go insane, think about this: You have taken numerous steps to try and solve your "cold draft" issue. Maybe you should take some time, sit down, relax and have a cold draft and try again tomorrow.
Sorry it isn't working out, but I have a feeling you will find it--damn electric motors. My 95 does some weird stuff, but with our weather, I just ignore it. Maybe you should move to the California coast. Here freezing is 60 degrees F.
