I'm saving up to buy a 2.5" or 4" suspension lift kit and was wanting to know if this is something I can put on myself. I have all the tools needed for it.

It's definitely something you can do yourself rather than taking it to a shop, it might help to have a buddy to help out though. Just remember that after you install it, it would be wise to have the wheels aligned to compensate for the lift messing up your current alignment.
Definitely will. Because I called a place by my house and they wanted to charge me $100 bucks an hour and they said there would be 12 hours of labor and I was like heck no
This is the one I like. What's your thoughts? If not do u know any below $600 I'm gonna install it myself
Yeah, I'd do it myself then. And check out Autoanything.com, they have a price match guarantee, free shipping within the U.S., no sales tax except in CA, and they usually have a sale for 15% off or so. You can probably get a great price there and the user reviews will give you some feedback on the quality. I do know a few people on here have Rough Country lift/leveling kits and seem to like them. I just never spent the money on a lift kit so I can't tell you personally.
Ok thanks ya I'll check that out.

What did u do to your truck. Like what size tires do u have because I wanted mine similar height to yours. Can u post a pic of yours on this thread.
I haven't lifted mine at all, still stock suspension and such. I did however remove the stock 17" wheels and 235/65 R17 tires and replace them with 18" wheels an 275/65 R18 tires off of an '06 FX4. Here's some pics though.

That's an awesome truck you got. I'll probably do that then. I'll get bigger wheels and tires
