2000 Ford F150 V8 XLT ..automatic with about 200k miles

Overdrive servo had problem so I removed pan and replaced overdrive servo (snap ring) and when I removed pan and valve body I found that 2-3 accumulator spring was broken...when I dropped valve body ..broken spring along with cover just fell on ground... ...2-3 piston looked fine.....so should I change piston or just spring?

and nothing wrong with 1-2 accumulator ...as snap ring is holding it fine....and before I took all this apart ...transmission was shifting fine accept that overdrive problem(it wont go pass 40 mph if its in overdrive)

SO JUST TO CLARIFY ...ONLY THING BROKEN CURRENTLY IS 2-3 ACCUMULATOR SPRING ...

Its not only* money but ..I heard that if it ain't broke don't replace it.
So please advise...
