If you want to go a little further you can throw it in the washer on gentle then either air dry or spin it on your polisher. Once it's dry I store them in zip locks so that they don't get dirt on them.

    Thanks for the proper procedure, I had looked at the pad washer but just can't justify spending that much at this time. But maybe one-day.

    Haha wow I didn't realize it's from 2012. Grabber, I would only buy a pad washer if you detail for money. I use dawn because it's safe and a very good at getting in the pores of the pad.

    No either works, both are great products. I personally like TurtleWax for wax, but I use Mothers Protectant for my plastic trim and it works really well.
