brand new truck what to use on plastic??

Just got a 2014 Supercab 4x4 and just wanted to see what product works the best on the exterior plastic to keep it from fading over time. I know most of my previous vehicles faded out over time and a couple I repainted.

I use Mother's Protectant on my '05. The black plastic is pretty faded from the previous owner's neglect but that stuff makes it look like new again. Keeps it black when before its gray. Usually lasts about 2 months unless it rains or I wash it.

There are a few tricks. U can use a heat gun lightly to changes the color of the black surface back to its original (or close to ) and then apply a coat of black treatment. Look. I'll b honest. I don't have anything bad to say about most of the black products out there. I just Happin to use McGuires products. Only because I used mothers growing up. That and turtle wax lol. They both work great. There are some profits online that do the same thing. But the time frame is about the same. A little better than a month. Bout all u can get with an application. Unless u put a coat on every week for a year will u get to change how long it lasts for lol.
