    05 Lariat A/V build

Alright crew wanted to let everyone in on my A/V build. Still have some to add down the road, but this is what I've installed so far!

Of course it all starts with a nice h/u and I went with a Pioneer AVH-X5800BHSPIONEER AVH-X5800BHS.jpg
Then I added some goodies to the h/u to help it operate to my liking.
Added a bypass to unlock all the features all the timeMicroBypass.jpg
I'm a big fan of the steering wheel controls so I added an Axxes ASWC-1 to make them work with the h/uAxxess ASWC-1.jpg
I'm also a fan of SiriusXM so I added the SXV300v1 tuner SXV300v1.jpg
Added a backup camera to better utilize the video screen Esky EC135-05.jpg
Then it was time for mids and highs and I decided on Kicker CS components in the front doors Kicker 40CSS684.jpg
And threw some matching 6X8's in the rear doors Kicker 40CS684.jpg
After all that it was time for some BOOM and after some searching I found a box I like for under the back seat and put a Kicker CompVT shallow 10 in itKicker Cvt 10.jpg
I decided to utilize the amp I had in my previous system and it just happened to match the output that the sub requires.
I wanted to be able to control the Boom when my boy or anyone who doesn't like all the racket is riding with me so I added a Pac LC-1 level controller Pac LC-1.jpg

Can't say I'm completely done cause I want to add another amp to run the door speakers and a couple headrest video screens, but this is the point she'll be at for a little while.

Old man brain took over the other day and I forgot to mention the usb/aux jack I used to replace the cigarette lighter underneath my heater controls

Makes it super easy to hook up pretty much any audio source and is much more functional for me than a cig lighter.

The cig lighter adaptor is pretty cool. Great idea.

You'll like the bass knob. I decided at the last minute to put one in my truck, an am glad I did. I turn it all the way down when I get a phone call to avoid the sub going crazy because the person I am talking to is breathing into their phone. Also nice if you listen to podcasts (I listen to Adam Carolla and Tom Barnard almost daily).

Oh man I got that one wrong. Guess I'm off base for wanting functionality out of my back seats
