So I believe the Ecoboost after cooler is completely sealed so if I drove through water I would be ok. Is this true?

Just an FYI. The intercooler's job isn't to cool the turbos. It's job is to cool the air after it is compressed by the turbos.

He asked if it would be okay to drive in "water" and I said yes if anything the "water" would help cool them off as in the turbos*

I hope you don't submerge your truck that deep, the turbos sit pretty high in the EB if I remember correctly

They sit just even or a hair above the floor pan. There is a bunch of splash shields and skid plates under my FX4. But prob not a good idea to take it swimming.
